Yes or no tarot
Hold a clear question in mind, type it if you like, and draw one card. Each card leans yes, no or maybe, and the full meaning helps you think it through.
Your question stays on your device. It is not stored or sent anywhere.
How yes or no tarot works on Astra
Each of the 78 cards has a traditional lean. Bright, open cards such as The Sun or the Ace of Cups lean yes. Heavy cards such as the Three of Swords or The Tower lean no. Cards about waiting or choice, such as the Two of Swords, read as maybe. Reversed cards soften the answer: yes becomes maybe, and maybe becomes no.
How to ask a good yes or no question
- Ask about one thing at a time.
- Ask about your own choices, for example "Is it a good time for me to start this project?"
- Avoid questions about other people's private choices, health or money decisions that need a professional. More in how to ask tarot a question.
Treat the answer as a prompt
A yes or no card is not a promise. The most useful part is often your reaction: if you feel relief or disappointment, that tells you what you were hoping for.
FAQ
Which cards mean yes? Cards like The Sun, The Star, The World and the Ace of Cups usually lean yes. Each card page lists its lean.
Which cards mean no? Cards like The Tower, the Ten of Swords and the Five of Pentacles usually lean no.
Can I ask the same question again? You can, but drawing again and again tends to blur the answer. Try sitting with the first card.
